Ida Florence Cravens, age 99, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Friday, (July 6, 2007) at her residence.
She was a housewife, a quilt maker and was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church. She was born on January 21, 1908, in Grayson Co, KY, the daughter of Otto Lee and Marietta Butler Young.
She is survived by three children: J.L. Cravens and Mary Alice Kiper of Leitchfield and Barbara Jones of Falls of Rough. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and several great and great–great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Cravens, two children, Norma Jean Mangold and George W. Cravens and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (July 8, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Edward Dermitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday.
