Obituary
Imogene Sue Bender, age 63, of Falls of Rough, passed away Thursday, (December 31, 2015) at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on June 26, 1952 in Camden, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Smyth Countryman.
She was a heavy equipment operator for Chase Environmental Group. She enjoyed fishing, boating, reading, and loved to work.
She is survived by her husband. Arthur Bender, Sr. of Falls of Rough; daughter, Cheryl Keisling and her husband, Michael, of Falls of Rough; two grandsons, Matthew and Tyler Keisling; and several brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Arthur Bender, Jr.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield on Sunday (January 3, 2016) from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 3:00 p.m.
Cremation was chosen.
