Imogene Bradshaw Day, age 89, of Falls of Rough, KY passed away Monday, (November 30, 2009) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on February 4, 1920, in Grayson Co, KY, the daughter of William Scott and Bertha Miles Bradshaw. She was a homemaker and a member of the Short Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by six children, Boyd (Becky) Day of Falls of Rough, William "Bill" (Connie) Day of Leitchfield, Beverly (Miles) Thomas of Leitchfield, Barry Day of Leitchfield, Bonnie (Randy) Langley of Caneyville and Benny Day of Leitchfield, two sisters, Opal Beauchamp of Leitchfield and Dallas Tubb of Caneyville, a brother-in-law, Charlie Blain and a sister-in-law, June Bradshaw, fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Day, her siblings, Russell, Evelyn, Hazel, Pauline, John "Jack" C, Wilma and Teddy Bradshaw, Nelda Cantway and Floris Blain.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (December 3, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Jeff McMichael will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lahue-Bradshaw Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
