Ina Jane Willis, age 82 , of, Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 29, 2022) at her home in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on August 4, 1939 in Grayson County, KY, daughter of the late Joe Landis McClure and Savannah Vincent McClure.

She retired from Grayson County Middle School where she worked as a nurse's aide for 30 years. Before working at the middle school, she was a waitress at Southland Manor. She was a member of the Grayson County Republicans Club who worked at the election polls for years. She enjoyed watching UK Basketball, reading the newspaper, and taking her granddaughters out to eat and shopping. She graduated from Leitchfield High School in 1956. She was a member of the Leitchfield United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Powell and Savannah Powell; sister, Elizabeth South Kiper and close family friend and caregiver, James Blessitt. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morton (Link) Willis; daughter, Tami Powell; two sisters, Edna Jo Wise and Darlene Dickinson; and one brother Randall McClure.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 2, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tom Wilson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of services.
