Irene Kiper, age 97, formerly of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Sunday March 16, 2008 at her residence in Louisville. She was born March 19, 1910 the daughter of Cordelia (Tomes) and Edward Everett Ward. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her son and his wife John W. and Ann Kiper, four grandchildren, Patrick, Robin, Kevin and Holly, five great grandchildren, Della, Jacob, Alex, Daniel and Sarah, one great great grandchild, Andrew.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 19, 2008 at 1:00 p .m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro. Clint Palmer officiating with interment in the New Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
