Irene Nelson Woosley, 90, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday (March 4, 2011) at Grayson Manor Health Care in Leitchfield.
She was born on June 13,1920, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Jerldina (Zachary) and James Robert Nelson. She was a housewife,
She is survived by one brother David Nelson of Westview, and one sister Marjorie Cook, of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James, two sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. (March 7, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Rev. Ken Nelson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p .m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
