Irvin Cook, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (September 13, 2021) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on February 28, 1949 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Elba and Noma Wilson Cook.

He was a mechanic who enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and working on cars.

He is survived by three daughters, Jenny Cook (Barry Simmons) of Leitchfield, Noma Cook of Radcliff, KY, Jessica Willis (Ronnie) of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, Ira Mudd, Matthew and Tyler Vincent, Tanner Newton, Elijah, Brooklynn and Mackenzie Willis; one brother, Robert Cook (Janice) of Morgantown, KY; two sisters, Sylvia Brooks of Illinois, and Jerline Wilson of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Doranna Cook, Lilly Cottrell, Rochellie Logsdon and Flossie Clark.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (September 20, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Tom Cook Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
