Obituary
Ivan Schmierer, age 84, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 28, 2010) at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
He was born on July 8, 1926, in Budapest Hungary, the son of the late Ivan M. and Wilma Koczian Schmierer. He was a clothing designer, and was owner of IMS Manufacturing in Leitchfield.
He is survived by his wife, Selena Popovic Schmierer of Leitchfield, one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Ronda Schmierer of Leitchfield, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Samantha Schmierer of Leitchfield.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday (December 5, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Father Randy Howard will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 2:00 p.m. Saturday (December 4, 2010).
