Obituary
Iven Geary, age 78, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (November 12, 2010) at his residence in Leitchfield.
He was born on February 23, 1932, in Ohio County, KY, the son of the late Clarence Iven and Luna Raines Geary. He was a retired industrial maintenance worker for Vulcan Hart.
He is survived by three sons, Danny Geary of Charlestown, IN, James Douglas Jaggers, and Ricky Jaggers (Kim) of Leitchfield; two daughters, Lori Jaggers (Tim) of Cecilia, and Robin Clark (Mike) of Elizabethtown; one sister Veda Arnold of Louisville; one half sister Phyllis Neighbors of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Lorraine Geary, one brother L.J. Geary, three sisters, Alta Arnold, Marita Beasley, and Anna Mae Oldham, and one half sister, Lucille Beasley.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (November 15, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Peonia Christian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
