Obituary
J.C. Embry, age 78, of Caneyville, KY passed away Sunday August 14, 2011 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born on October 06,1932, in Grayson Co., the son of Roosevelt & Edna Woosley Embry. He was owner and operator of Embry's Upholstery.
He is survived by 2 sons Harold Dean (Donna) Embry of Morgantown & Tommy Embry of Caneyville, 3 daughters Mary Ann (Kenny) Jackson of Leitchfield, Debbie (Steve) Mahurin & Brenda (Eddie) White both of Caneyville, 3 brothers Wendell, Floyd & Lewis Embry all of Caneyville, 1 sister Reva Cummings of Caneyville, 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen & 1 brother Frankie.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday (August 17, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Interment will be in the Simpson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Simpson Cemetery Fund.
