Obituary
Jack C. Shearer, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday (July 17, 2011) at his residence.
He was born on August 5, 1938, in Georgetown, KY the son of Hubert and Augusta Carlton Shearer. He was a retired engineer for L & N Railroad, Monterey-Salinas Transit, Monterey,CA and currently a bus driver for the Grayson County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Yates Shearer, one son, Scott Shearer (Lisa) of Louisville, two daughters, Terri Ann Potter (James) of Cool, CA and Susan Michelle Wiltsong (Greg) of Auburn, CA, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and with a memorial service at a later date. Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield is in charge of the arrangements.
