Obituary
Jack Roger Woosley, age 87, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday (May 28, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1920 in Grayson Co., KY the son of Allie and Ida Minton Woosley. He was retired from Leggett & Platt and a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War 11.
He is survived by one son, Hillard (Margaret) Woosley of Caneyville, one granddaughter Lisa (Dwayne) Woosley and one grandson Scott (Cheri) Woosley all of Caneyville, five great grandchildren Jameson, Hillary, Sara, Rachael, and Samantha Woosley, one brother Barney Woosley of Leitchfield, three sisters Nina Woosley of Caneyville, Aliene Stewart of Millwood and Elnora Embry of Butler Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cuba Woosley.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M Friday, May 30, 2008 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Gary Woosley will be officiating. Burial is in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
