Obituary
Jackie Lee Hicks, age 63, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (October 4, 2007) at his home in Leitchfield.
He was born on July 6, 1944 in Edmonson County KY, the son of James Lawrence and Effie Mae Sanders Hicks.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jean Hicks of Leitchfield, KY, one son, Jackie Lee Hicks Jr., of Louisville, one step-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Copelin, two brothers, Jimmy Lewis Hicks of Leitchfield and Bobby Dee Hicks of Meade County KY, two sisters, Betty Harp of Brooks, KY and Billie Poteet of Bowling Green. Two grandchildren, Steven Hicks and Jessie Hicks of Paducah, KY.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (October 6, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Herman Hayes and Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 3:00 p.m. Friday (October 5, 2007)
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Central KY.
