Obituary
Jake D. Woosley, age 74, of Deland, Florida, formerly of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday (June 9, 2008) in Florida.
He was born on September 12, 1933, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Blakely & Willie E. Sermon Woosley. He was retired from the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Nugent Woosley of Florida, 2 daughters, Kara Sloan & Regina Bobay both of Florida, 1 son, Michael Woosley of Florida, 1 sister, Virgie Bratcher of Caneyville, 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Donya Johnson & 1 grandchild, MacKinzie.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday (June 15, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Rev. Randall Deweese will be officiating. Burial is in the Cain Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
