Obituary
James M. Beatty, 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (March 3, 2014) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on April 11, 1936 in Caneyville, KY , the son of the late Archie and Audry Huff Beatty.
He was a Retired Dairy Farmer, a Mason and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his companion, Sharon Jones of Leitchfield, a daughter, Nancy (John) Richardson of Bloomfield, KY, a granddaughter, Sara (Clayton) Rogers , a brother, Billy Beatty of Leitchfield, a sister, Louella (Rich) Fleener of Fayetteville, NC, and two great grandchildren, John Clayton Rogers and Cora Catherine Rogers.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Friday, (March 7, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Rev. Gary Beatty officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
