Obituary
James Dodrill, age 66, of Caneyville KY, passed away Friday, (May 22, 2009) in Caneyville as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on July 30, 1942, in Birch River, WV, the son of the late Oscar and Flora Shaver Dodrill. He was a commercial carpenter.
He is survived by three daughters, Charma Chavez, Clarissa Gallegos and DeAnn Dodrill all of New Mexico, two sons, Buck Fletcher of Caneyville and Jimmy Dodrill of New Mexico and twelve grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. (May 27, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Elwood Tomes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
