James Everett Durbin, age 90, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (October 13, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on July 22, 1920, in Ohio County, KY, the son of the late St. Bernard and Leona Miller Durbin. He was an auto mechanic and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by a grandson, Justin Durbin of Livermore, CA, two brothers, Elmer Lee of Elizabethtown, KY and Bernie Durbin of Indiana, three sisters, Mary M Debiew of Clarkson, Kathleen Von Allmen (Ray) of Louisville, KY and Mildred Clark of Lebanon Junction, KY. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James, four brothers, Ernest, Lawrence, Edmond and Ed Durbin and two sisters, Ethel Goodwin and Annie M. Rachilla.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (October 23, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Randy Howard will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
