James F "Jimmy" Kelley, age 68, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 3, 2018) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on November 22, 1949 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Thomas and Ruby Roof Kelley.

He was a heavy equipment operator, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, arrow head hunting and metal detecting.

He is survived by his wife, Jaynelle Hayes Kelley; his son, Dewayne Kelley of Leitchfield, his daughter, Tammy Beville (Jacob) of Leitchfield, his grandchildren, Tristan and Ashton Kelley and Jackson Beville, one brother, Randy Kelley of Leitchfield, and three sisters, Carolyn Noblett, Bernice Lasley and Joyce Kelley all of Leitchfield.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, (November 7, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Neil Carnes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hayes-Kelley Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
