Obituary
James W. Forbes, age 79 of Horse Branch, KY, passed away Friday (May 25, 2007) at his home.
He was born on July 24, 1927 in Butler County KY. He was retired from the B.F. Goodrich Company. He also was retired Army Veteran of WWII
He is survived by one son, James Larry Forbes and his wife (Rebecca) of Horse Branch, KY. Eight grandchildren, James Lee, Samantha and Regina Forbes, Michael Stewart, Johnny, Terry and Renee Raymer and Sherry Ashley. Ten great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Alcidean Forbes.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M Monday (May 28, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Jimmy Bratcher will be officiating. Burial is in the Doyle Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 4:00 P.M. Saturday (May 26, 2007)
