Obituary
James H. Hayes, age 71 of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday (April 8, 2009) at his residence.
He was born on June 28, 1937, in Grayson County KY, the son of Claude and Macie (Beasley) Hayes. He was a retired plumber and backhoe operator and the owner of Hayes and Sons Plumbing.
He is survived by his wife Regenia (Mudd) Hayes, four sons, Ronnie (Pam), Donnie, Tony (Missy) and Johnnie Hayes all of Caneyville, one daughter, Lauretta Hayes of Caneyville, one brother, Royce Hayes of Brownsville, KY, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Claude Hayes, mother Macie Beasley Hayes, and one sister Wanda Hayes Phelps.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (April 11, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial is in the Wilson Cemetery at Caneyville, KY. Bro. M.D. Raymer will be officiating.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 12:00 p.m. Friday (April 10, 2009) and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday.
