James A. Holloway, age 64, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 30, 2010) at his residence.
He was born on July 14, 1946, in Clarksville, IN, the son of the late Joseph Alfred and Margaret Hansen Holloway. He was the owner and operator of Evelyn's Florist for 38 years, a member and past president of the Grayson County Rotary Club and was a member of the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church where he held multiple offices.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Nottingham Holloway, two daughters, Judy Montgomery (Stork) of Murfreeboro, TN and Heather Smith (Steven) of Leitchfield, four grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Spencer Montgomery and Eli and Hannah Smith, three brothers, Robert Winckler of Wasilla, AK, Joseph William Holloway of Englewood, CO, and Thomas Winckler of Olympia, WA, and one sister, Virginia Martin of Englewood, CO.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (October 3, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Darrell Lyons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
