Obituary
James Fletcher Houtchens, age 42, of Hudson, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 29, 2015) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on September 19, 1972, in Louisville, KY, the son of James R. and Gloria Fritsch Houtchens.
He was a construction worker for Basham Construction Company. He enjoyed flying remote control airplanes, and taking care of animals of all kinds.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Brown Houtchens of Hudson; three sons, Darren Houtchens, Chucky Yadon, and Matt Yadon; parents, James R. and Gloria Houtchens of Louisville; sister, Shannon Murphy (Robert) of IN; one grandson, Ethan Messer; and three nieces, Samantha, Taylor, and Breana Murphy.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (February 1, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Laslie and Bro. Josh Milburn will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
