James Douglas Jaggers, age 51, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (July 30, 2012) in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
He was born on April 15, 1961, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the son of the late James W. Jaggers, and Frances Lorraine Cook Jaggers Geary.
He was an avid UK fan and an outdoor enthusiast. He was a Quality Control Manager and was an elder and member of the Eveleigh Independent Church.
He is survived by two sons, Chad Jaggers (Jessica) of Leitchfield and Chris Jaggers of Clarkson, KY, two grandchildren, James Ryan and Markus Allen Jaggers, two sisters, Lori Polston (Tim) of Cecilia, KY and Robin Clark (Mike) of Elizabethtown, one half-sister, Sherry Jaggers of Elizabethtown, eight step-brothers and step-sisters, two nephews, and one niece.
Other than his parents James W. Jaggers, and Frances Lorraine Geary, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ivan Geary, step-mother Ivena Jaggers, and a brother, Richard Jaggers.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (August 3, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jay Kiper will be officiating. Burial will be in the Peonia Christian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
