Obituary
James H. Mashburn, age 51, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (April 8, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on August 14, 1963 in Grayson County, KY, the son of Barney and Mary Johnson Wilcher.
He was a Deputy Jailer at Grayson and Larue County Detention Centers and a member of the Clearview Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling, working on cars and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Harris Mashburn of Leitchfield, a son, Hunter Mashburn, his mother, Mary Wilcher, of Caneyville, KY, a sister, Mary Jo Wilcher (Mike) of Caneyville; a half-brother, J.B. Mashburn (Flo) of Leitchfield and a half-sister Virginia Woosley of Caneyville. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Max Mashburn, and a half-sister, Martha Jo Tuff.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 11, 2015) at the Clearview Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Clearview Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
