Obituary
James Eugene Nowlin, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (May 25, 2015) at his residence in Leitchfield.
He was born on January 25, 1945 in Manila, Arkansas, the son of the late James and Mary Lois Gabbard Nowlin.
He was a retired electrician from Lyondell Citgo, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by daughter, Kristy Nelson of Leitchfield; two sons, Nick Nowlin of Leitchfield, and Larry Nowlin of Texas; grandchildren, McKenzie Nelson, Joemy and Keelan Nowlin; step-sisters, April Crockett, Marta Fiorello, and Judy Gray; step-brother, David Halfell; and great friends, Eugene Dennis and Curtis Birch.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kitty Nowlin.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, (May 28, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Blanton will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. on Thursday until service time.
