James Tolbert Otto Lindsey, age 38, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 25, 2017) at his home in Leitchfield.
He was born on July 13, 1978 in Elizabethtown, KY, the son of Eugene and Tona Snyder Lindsey.
He was a certified welding instructor and educator (CWI & CWE) for TRC who enjoyed hunting, shooting, playing pool, riding four wheelers and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his son, Wyatt Lindsey of Leitchfield; his daughter, Asia Hutchinson of Leitchfield; his sister, Tara Lindsey of Leitchfield; his mother, Tona Lindsey of Leitchfield; the love of his life and mother of his children, Patti Preston of Leitchfield; his grandmothers, Frances Snyder and Mildred Lindsey, both of Millwood, KY; four nephews, Dallas Lindsey, Eli Preston, Alex Mudd and Trenton Tucker; six nieces, Trinity and Lilah Preston, Kendra, Alicia & Tiffani Hutchinson, and Breanna Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Lindsey; his brother, Eric Lindsey; grandfathers, Otto Lindsey and James Snyder; grandmother, Ethel Lindsey; aunts, Gladys Lindsey and Mary Wilson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (March 30, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
