James R. Beville, age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (June 3, 2025) at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on December 15, 1948, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late James and Alene Whobrey Beville.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. James enjoyed hunting, playing BINGO, and watching Westerns on television. He married the love of his life, Linda Marie Basham Beville on March 28, 1972. Their home was full of love and loyalty to each other. Sadly, she passed away in 2020, leaving him with a missing piece of his life.

He is survived by his  daughter, Latosha Beville (Calvin);  grandchildren, Hali Decker, Tangarae Decker, Leah Decker, Brianna Beville, Bailey Jo Beville and Jonathan Waddell; five great-grandchildren; one special great-grandson, Finley Hayes; a special daughter-in-law, Gwen Beville Waddell (Tony); sister, Anna Mae Witt; two brothers, John "Peanut" Wollard and Bobby Beville.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Beville; daughter, Tammy Beville; his son, James Beville; and sisters, Mary Helen Miller, Nola Hardin, Joyce Miller, and Kathleen Blanton.

Cremation was chosen at his request, with burial in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Leitchfield at a later date.
