James "Jim" Wesley Pearl, age 64, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Friday, (November 17, 2023) at the Owensboro Twin Lakes Regional Hospital in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on October 9, 1959 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late William Rex and Anna Louise Ramsey Pearl.

He was a retired maintenance worker at Baillie Lumber, who enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Shaffer Pearl, one daughter and two sons, Sheila, Jeff and Randy Pearl all of Alabama, five grandchildren, two brothers, William Joseph Pearl of Wichita, KS and John Gordon Pearl of Leitchfield, two  sisters, Rebecca Jarboe of Lebanon, TN and Debra  Geary of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (November 22, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Murrell Meredith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday (November 21, 2023) and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
