Jamie Dallas Felty, age 48, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (January 14, 2024) at Baptist East in Louisville, KY.

He was born on September 19, 1975 in Breckinridge County, KY, the son of Deborah Ann Roof Lee and the late Gaylan Felty.

He worked as a tree-trimmer and enjoyed art, hunting, fishing, and working on trees.

He is survived by his son, Klayton Felty (Alexis) of Owensboro, KY; a granddaughter Eden Rose Felty and a grandson, Micah Reid Felty, on the way;  a brother, Anthony "Dickie" Felty of Sadler; a sister, Tonya Tilford (Jodie) of Leitchfield; his mother, Deborah Lee (Chris) of Leitchfield; a niece, Faith; three nephews, Hunter, Trenton & Braylan; and a great-nephew, Axten Scott. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (January 22, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Chris Lee will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
