Jared Ryan Bolton, age 43, of Nashville, TN formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 27, 2025).

He was born on September 27, 1982 in Lubbock, TX, the son of Charles and Deborah Bolton.

Jared loved playing tennis, music and spending time outdoors. Jared had a happy and friendly spirit about him. He was outgoing and giving and he was always ready to lend a hand and share a laugh. He brought light and joy to those around him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was a member of the Brentwood Church of Christ.

He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Debbie Bolton of Leitchfield; sister, Christina DeStefano (Sam) of Debary, FL; aunts and uncles, Kathy Lodge (Michael) of Lake Mary, FL, Tracy Muncy (Lee) of Shelbyville, and Maurita Jo Geisler of Indiana; and his maternal grandmother, Macy Higgs of Caneyville,

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Allene Bolton; maternal grandfather, Marion Higgs; aunt, Yvette Coots (Bill) and a uncle, Kenny Geisler.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (October 3, 2025) at the Lilac Road Church of Christ in Leitchfield. Bro. James McClenny will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Lilac Road Church of Christ until time of services.
