Jeffery Wade Hogan, age 55 , of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Friday, (May 5, 2023) at his residence.

He was born on January 9, 1968 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Willard and Bessie Lacefield Hogan.

He was a handyman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid gun enthusiast. He also was a UK sports fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Hogan (Jeremy Gordon) of Batavia, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Laylah, Leah, Darren and Esamaye; siblings, Barbara Cummings (James), Billy Hogan (Melinda), Robert Hogan, Brenda Cook (Brad), Lola Miller, Sonny Hogan, Buddy Hogan (Cindy), and Marie Greaser (John); the love of his life, Sherry Haycraft and her son, Shane Haycraft and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Boyd Hogan and his sister, Sue Brooks.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (May 10, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Larry Lacefield will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
