Obituary
Jeffrey Lee Pettrey, age 49, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 5, 2015) at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was born on December 13, 1965 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Clayburn Pettrey Jr and Bonnie Moore Escue.
He was a warehouseman for Zenith Logistics in Louisville, KY, who enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and restoring his old truck and was a member of the teamsters union and formerly the FFA.
He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Pettrey of Caneyville, KY, his granddaughter, Kaedance Willis, his step-father, Clifton Escue of Falls of Rough, two sisters, Mitzi Kiper of Elizabethtown, KY and Leslie Escue South of Caneyville, his girlfriend, Ramona Babbs of Sellersburg IN and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dale Pettrey.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (July 9, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Steve Mahurin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
