Jeffrey Thomas Sanders, age 51, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (August 6, 2026) in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on February 11, 1975, in Elizabethtown, KY, the son of Ronella Logsdon Sanders and the late Aubrey Irvin Sanders.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, foraging for mushrooms, arrowhead collecting and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Bryce Thomas Sanders of Leitchfield; his mother, Ronella Logsdon Sanders; one niece, Candice Jordan Sanders of Leitchfield; and the mother of his children, Danielle Hill. Several aunts and uncles also survive.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Garrett Daniel Sanders; a brother, Jeremy Scott Sanders and one nephew, Jeremy Braydon Sanders.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (August 10, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Matt Milam will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
