Jeremy Scotty Embry, age 46, of Caneyville, KY passed away Friday, (August 29, 2025) in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on December 31, 1978 in Bowling Green, KY, the son of Carol Sue Embry Fox.

Jeremy was a true family man with a big heart. He loved spending time fishing, piddling with old cars, and could hang drywall with the best of them. Jeremy was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought.

He enjoyed reading his bible, listening to good music, and there wasn't anything in this world he loved more than his kids and his momma. Jeremy had a free spirit, a giving soul, and a way of making folks feel cared for. He'll be remembered for his love of family and his strong work ethic.

He is survived by his daughter, Abby Hayse of Leitchfield; son, Aden Coffee of Nashville; grandchildren, Miles and Marshall Mashburn and one on the way, Annalynn Rose Coffee; his mother and stepfather, Sue and Michael Fox of Caneyville; one brother, Jerry Dean Embry (Devon) of Caneyville; aunts, Joan Farris of Caneyville, Cheryl Payton (Rob) of Caneyville, Pam Keller (Jack) of Utica, and Kim Lindsey (Doug) of Caneyville; and one uncle, Tim Embry. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Reathel and Von Embry and one uncle, Vernon Embry.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (September 8, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Charles Lacefield will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duke-Embry Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Monday and until time of services.
