Obituary
Jerry Lee Mattingly, age 62, of Leitchfield , KY, passed away Thursday, (March 8, 2012) at his residence in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
He was born on August 14, 1949, in, Breckinridge County, Kentucky, the son of the late Everett Lee and Bessie Lampton Mattingly. He was an engineer at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for forty-two years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Mattingly; one son, Joey Mattingly (Amanda); one daughter, Brittany Mattingly; and two grandchildren, Railey and Samuel Mattingly, all of Leitchfield. Several cousins and aunts also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Bessie Mattingly.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday (March 12, 2012) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Rev. Randy Howard will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday (March 10, 2012), from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00p.m. on Sunday (March 11, 2012) and from 9:00a.m. on Monday (March 12, 2012) until time for the service.
