Jerry Lane Mudd, age 48, of Chestnut Mound, TN, passed away Monday (January 14, 2008) in Nashville, TN.
He was born on April 17, 1959, in Louisville, KY, the son of Ernest and Linda Hardin Mudd.
He was a Plumber for Donaldson Plumbing and was a member of the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry Mudd Jr. and his wife, Amy, and Oval Lee Mudd and his wife, Trudy, both of Chestnut Mound, his daughters, Penny Lago and her fiancée, Davin Young and Jennifer Hiers both of Chestnut Mound and Shannon Brunner and her husband, Brad, of Hermitage, TN, his parents, Ernest and Linda Hardin Mudd of Caneyville, his grandchildren, Jerry III, Stone Lee, Jacob, Dakota, and Blake Mudd, Chelsey Orberson, Dylan and Madison Brown, Devin Young, Jr. (DJ), Isaiah Hiers, Justin and Logan Robertson and Brianna and Natasha Brunner, three brothers, Allen (Debbie), Ricky (Sandi) and James (Julie) Mudd, two sisters, Betty Probus and Malinda (Kenny) Snell, six nephews, five nieces, five great nephews and two great nieces.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday (January 18, 2008) at the Caney Creek United Baptist Church in Caneyville. Bros. Allen Mudd and Alton Brooks will be officiating. Burial in the Caney Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.
