Obituary
Jimmie D. Kerr, age 57, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 2, 2009) in Hardin County.
He was born on February 19, 1952, in Jefferson Co, KY, the son of Franklin and Donnie Powell Kerr. He was retired from Leitchfield Plastics as a heavy machine operator, a member of the Locksmith Organization, a member of the Handyman Organization, and a member of Broadford Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Michael Kerr of Leitchfield; one stepson, Tommy Crain of Lexington, KY; four sisters, Emaleen Dewitt and Velma Wilkin, both of Louisville, KY, Olita Rich of Clarkson, and Jerry Daughtery of Falls of Rough, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Theodore, Hershall, and Lester Kerr, and three sisters, Anna Faye Burnett, Mamie Webb and Corine Knight. three brothers, Theodore, Hershall, and Lester Kerr, and one sister Faye Burnett.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00p.m. (December 6, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joey Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Broadford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
