Jimmie Eli Payton, age 68, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday (March 30, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born December 4, 1938 in Grayson County the son of Estill & Lou Embry Payton
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Marjorie Frank Payton of Caneyville, 2 sons Jimmy Ray & Robert Eli Payton both of Caneyville, 1 daughter Connie Willoughby, 8 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, 6 sisters Florene Johnson of Caneyville, Ilene Craft of California, Norma Jean Kerr of Munfordville, Mildred Keller of Indiana, Carol Tuttle of Campbellsburg, Martha Bratcher of Carrollton, 1 brother T.J. Payton of Louisville.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (April 2, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Charlie Lacefield will be officiating. Burial is in the Frank-Embrey Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday & from 9:00 until funeral time Monday.
