Jimmy Logsdon, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, at the age of 87. Jimmy was born on July 7, 1937 in Pearman, Kentucky.

Jimmy was the son of Aud and Odline Powell Logsdon. Jimmy's siblings, Herchell (Toe), Jeraldine, Alma Dale, Larry, Gary, and Evelyn Logsdon preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Logsdon, of Cecilia; one son, Tim (Gayla) Logsdon of Leitchfield, one daughter, Sherry Logsdon of Elizabethtown; one granddaughter, Amy Jaggers of Elizabethtown; three grandsons, Ryan (Melanie) Jaggers of Eastview, Kyle Jaggers of Elizabethtown, and Chad (Jessi) Logsdon of Louisville; eight great-grandchildren, Kyler Goodman, Kylee and Kyndle Jaggers, all of Elizabethtown, Rylan and Charlston Jaggers, of Eastview, and Truman, Oslo and Rhett Logsdon of Louisville. Two sisters, Barbara Mahurin of Tousey, and Sue Edwards of Short Creek also survive.

Jimmy's family also includes many nieces and nephews.

Jimmy spent his life selling cars and dancing. When he wasn't doing one he was doing the other. Jimmy called square dances every Saturday night until just a few years ago.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST Thursday, (May 15, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Christopher Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Broadford Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
