John A. Fisher, age 53, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Friday, (November 10, 2023) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on June 29, 1970 in Louisville, KY, (before being raised in Breckinridge County and spending his adult life in Leitchfield) the son of the late Carolyn Fisher.

He was the owner of Fisher Framing and enjoyed golfing, fishing and anything outdoors. His hobbies included cooking, traveling, attending classic car shows, watching Cardinal football and basketball, watching the Colts, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his children, Kayla Clark Driver (Colin) of Brownsville, KY & Michael Fisher (Molly) of Leitchfield; two grandchildren, Malone Fisher & Greysen Driver; a brother, Brian Fisher (Dorothy) of Leitchfield; a sister, Sarah Fisher of Falls of Rough, KY; and the mother of his children, Jackie Shoemaker Fisher of Leitchfield. Many special nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, (November 17, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
