Obituary
John E. Keith, age 81, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 27, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on June 11, 1929, in Pine Knob, KY, the son of the late Rondie Earl and Anna Mae Rocky Keith. He was a truck driver for Liquid Transport, and was a member of the Stones View United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Keith of Leitchfield, three daughters, Colleen Skinner (Brian) of Louisville, Phyllis Stewart of Tennessee, Mary Ann Waddell (Danny) of Louisville, one son, Phillip Keith, of Leitchfield, one sister, Marion Gowens (Jesse) of Louisville, two step daughters, Louisa Faw (David) of Indiana, and Margie Bish of Leitchfield, seven grandchildren, and three step grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one niece, Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. Monday (January 31, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Billy Compton and Delmer Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
