John Robert Noblett, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Monday, (January 26, 2026) at Owensboro Twin Lakes Hospital.

He was born on November 17, 1948 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Preston and Reba Lynn Noblett.

He lived a simple life and found his greatest joy in being outdoors, around people he loved and in his faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his garden, and searching for mushrooms after a warm spring rain and early mornings as he watched the sun rise with gratitude. He treasured his time with family and friends and found comfort and guidance in reading his bible each day. He was a member of Pine Knob Missionary Baptist Church.

He will be remembered by the footprints he left in the woods, by the lakes, and in the hearts and memories of those who knew him.

He is survived by daughter, Teresa Noblett-Deweese; grandchildren, Dustin Carter, Alexandria Burns (Dillon), Nathan Carter (Rebecca) and Daniel Mudd; brother, Asa Noblett; and his sister, Patricia Noblett. Several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Kaye Noblett; brother, Samuel Noblett; and a sister, Linda Noblett Dudgeon.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, (February 6, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jr. Logsdon and Bro. Lennie Hogan will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
