John Raymond Pearl, age 61, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Leitchfield.

He was born on January 30, 1955, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Raymond L. Pearl and the late Sandra Arnett Pearl.

He was the owner of his screen-printing and embroidery business, D & J Enterprises. He loved the ocean, watching U.K. basketball, playing golf, and horse racing. He enjoyed life, and loved his family and friends to the fullest. He attended Potter's Hope Ministries in Leitchfield.

He is survived by his daughter, Karrah Pearl Roehm, and husband, Adam, of Henryville, IN, and his son, Jason Pearl of Louisville, KY; one grandson, Luke Thomas Roehm; father, Raymond L. Pearl of Leitchfield, KY; sisters, Suzanne Pearl Hoyt, and husband, Norman, of Jacksonville, FL, and Gloria Pearl Sykes and husband, Bill, of Elizabethtown, KY; brother, Clifford Arnett Pearl, and wife, Victoria, of St. Lucia West, FL; and nieces and nephews, Eric Stewart Hoyt, Mary Spalding, Hilary Cooper, Hannah Sykes, Brandy Lynn, and Chasity and Tristan Lowe.

Other than his mother, Sandra Arnett Pearl, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Brandon Storm Hoyt, and William Sean Sykes.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, and from 9:00 a.m. on Monday until time of services.
