John Henry Ramsey, Sr., age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (March 19, 2020) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on March 11, 1941 in Breckinridge County, KY, the son of the late Gordon and Catherine Carwile Ramsey.

He was a retired Highway Inspector for the State of Kentucky , who enjoyed watching UK basketball.

He is survived by his son, John Ramsey, Jr., five grandchildren, Natasha Ramsey, William Ramsey, Adam Lampton, Corey Pierce, and Samantha Hudson(Mitchell Basham); and five great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Pearl.

Private Services will be held.
