Obituary
John Morgan Woodcock, age 68, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday (March 31, 2010) at his residence.
He was born on February 04, 1942, in Edmonson Co., the son of the late Abe Elzie and Lizza (Whobrey) Woodcock. He was a general laborer.
He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Rhodes (Mark) of Okolona, Brenda (Tod) Ranschaert, Pioneer Village and Faye Coomer of Millwood, one son Wayne (Beth) McCombs Sr. of Caneyville, one brother Donnie Woodcock, of Caneyville, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane,(Geanie), four sisters, Martha Winchell, Margaret Hayes, Mary Woodcock, and Lucille Overstreet, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (April 3, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Marvin Dotson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00am-9:00pm Friday, from 9:00am on Saturday until time of services.
