Johnathan Scott Downs, age 22, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (August 27, 2007) as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on September 15, 1984 in Bowling Green KY, the son of John Downs and Teresa Saltsman Downs.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Downs of Bee Springs, KY, his father and step-mother, John and Anita Downs of Mammoth Cave, KY, his maternal grandparents, Jackie and Elizabeth Saltsman of Leitchfield, his paternal grandparents, Norman and Lola May Downs of Bee Springs, his maternal great grandmother, Dora Davis of Leitchfield, his paternal great grandmother, Lena Carroll of Brownsville, KY, his step brothers and sisters, Matthew, Josh, Brittany and Benjamin and a special friend, Kisha Decker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday (August 31, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Matthew Ervin and Lendon Robertson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Pollyanna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
