Obituary
Johney C. Hoover, age 70, of Westview, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 13, 2010) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 24, 1940 in Spring Lick, KY, the son of Raymond and Lowie (Byers) Hoover. He was a shipping clerk for Marley Co. and a member of Suburban Lodge # 740 in Louisville.
He is survived by his wife Betty Hardin Hoover, five sons, and one daughter, Jason Hoover, John Hoover both of Louisville, Carolyn Spencer of Ind., Greg Morris and Kathy of Falls of Rough, John Morris of Prospect, and Brian Morris of Mt. Washington, and one brother, Walter Hoover of Clarkson, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (June 16, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Millard England will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday.
