Johnie Dwayne Williams, age 50, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 27, 2014) in Clarkson, KY.

He was born on October 8, 1963 in Clarkson, the son of the late Johnie L. Williams (Mary Lee) and Frances Grant Williams Allen (Larry).

He enjoyed playing golf, watching U. of L. basketball games, wrestling, and cooking out. He also enjoyed coaching his daughter's fast pitch softball team. He was a member of Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Melinda Hodge Williams; daughter, Gina Nicole Williams; his mother, Frances Allen; two sisters, Jennifer Allen, and Catrina Clark; two brothers, Denver Ray Williams, and Johnie Lee Williams, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Ashley Gilbert, Corey Williams, Houston and Courtney Hodge, Jarod Butler, Makenna and Madisyn Wells, Chaeli Hodge, Dylan, Evan, and Jonathan Williams, and Summer Jo Clark; mother-in-law, Ruby Hodge; father-in-law, Courtlen Hodge; and brothers-in-law, Stanley and Trenton Hodge.

Other than his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Elsie Williams, and Robert and Consulo Horn; two uncles, Jimmy and Buddy Grant, and brother-in-law, Andy Lee Hodge.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (August 31, 2014) at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery in Clarkson.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, from 9:00a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, until time of services at the church.
