Johnnie Poteet Williams, age 59, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 13, 2022) at her home.

She was born on December 1, 1962 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late John B. and Altina Vincent Poteet.

She was a bookkeeper and a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Steve Williams; a son, Nick Horn of Big Clifty; a daughter, Autum Hodges (Michael) of Leitchfield; six grandchildren, Bryce, Braxton (Brandi), Dillon, Keaton, Kenleigh & Charlee; one great-grandchild on the way; one brother Vincent Poteet of Meridian, MS; one sister Vickie Catlett (Bruce) of Maysville, KY; and a sister-in-law, Diana Poteet of Louisville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Brent Poteet, and one sister, Tryson Poteet.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 19, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Austin Wade will be officiating. Burial will be in the Kefauver Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
