Johnny Hack, age 59, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (January 24, 2022) at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born on June 12, 1962 in Clarkson, KY, the son of the late Riley and Goldie Mudd Hack.

He was a cook at KFC who enjoyed fishing, working on small appliances, watching TV and sitting on his front porch. He attended McGrew General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Hack of Leitchfield; a son, Justin Hack of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Pauline Hack (Roscoe) and Tami Caldwell (Kevin) both of Leitchfield; a brother, Tommy Hack (Sue) of Frankfort, IN;  two uncles, Willard Mudd (Mildred) of Caneyville, KY and Richard Mudd of Frankfort, IN; and a special aunt, Patsy Brown of Butler County. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Riley William Hack Jr.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (January 31, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Charlie Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Haycraft Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.

The family requests that those attending the visitation or funeral service please wear a mask while paying their respect.
